About Us
KAZwik Canada Inc. was incorporated in March of 2003 based on the prospects of the KAZwik EZpour gasoline nozzle. The President of KAZwik and inventor of the EZpour (patent pending) is Eugene E. Zywicki, P. Eng. Working with Eugene on the design of the EZpour was David A. McMullin, Mechanical Engineer.
The company is privately held, 100% Canadian and operates out of Ottawa, Ontario. The KAZwik EZpour is manufactured and assembled in Canada.
The idea for the EZpour was developed while Eugene was at his cottage where he was constantly filling boats and a PWC from 25 litre plastic gas cans. With only rudimentary funnels and spouts available at a reasonable price on the retail market, the task of quickly pouring gas from large gas cans was either a job for two people, or one large, strong adult (until the KAZwik EZpour). After working on a few different approaches to the problem, Eugene found that the EZpour concept was a hit with other cottagers who encouraged him to patent and commercialize it.
